Musings and stylings in middle age
Definitely more like this, please. It makes such a difference to see clothes 'in action'. I've never had great luck with charity or thrift shops - maybe I'm not a natural hunter- but I now live in Italy, where they don't exist, and I miss them. Where do I take good clothes which were mistakes or are no longer right for me ? There are old-fashioned 'signora' shops here, which sell designer stuff, vintage stores in big cities, and there's the recycling centre. Nothing else. I must ask Italian friends.
You're a star, I'll be back for more!
Parthenope: good lord there must be some fabulous finds in Italy. maybe you should launch a thrift shop! ,)GF: thanks so much for the encouragement. there are more to come!
